Sleeping...

This photo shows our kitty resting atop a lambskin which Jade bought. We speculate that she is preemptively identifying the various "kid-free" zones in our home in preparation for the time that our little ones are mobile.

During the daytime, our little ones spend their time in a crib fairly close to one another... it's only speculation, but we'd like to think that--after 30 and 1/2 weeks together--they missed one another during their NICU stay. They do generally sleep well in close proximity to each other, although sometimes Joel and Ella hit each other in the face while stretching.

This picture shows how we make it through the night. Either Ginger or Jade spends the evening on the floor near the babies so that we have easy access to hold, comfort, or feed the children. Lined up from back to front, we have Grace, Baby B, and Ella. Grace is propped up because she seems to sleep far better on a slight incline.

I am overjoyed that they are doing so well and are home. I can only imagine how happy you both are to be relieved of the drive and NICU.
