Still learning...

So, we're still learning to use this camera. I wish I was a better photographer! Ah, so many things I'd like to learn and enjoy!

I don't know how long we'll continue to blog. We found a place that will print our blog and turn it into a hard cover book. This is what we plan to use for the babies' baby books, so we try to add little details here and there that they might enjoy--once they are grown. This is a funny little detail: none of our babies like pacifiers. Every now and then Gracie or Ella will allow themselves to be temporarily persuaded, but only if you hold it for them and then it really doesn't last long. Instead:

Grace sucks her thumb.

Ella sucks on her fingers.

And boy (Joel) sucks on his fist!

Ella often squirms before she goes to bed... she seems to think that naptime should always be delayed in favor of play time. This does at times cause her to become uncovered, as evidenced by this photo of her little feet :o)

On the left we have Buglet, and on the right we have Boy. Although a little blurry, you can notice Grace's "floofs" (this is the term which Mommy & Daddy use to describe her unique head of hair :o)

Baby B loves his daddy. Whenever Jade is in the room, Joel is looking at him. Joel's favorite song is the German version of the "Bouncing Baby B" song, which goes something like this:

Er ist ein strappendes Baby B...
So gut wie er sein kann.
Er geht um die Stadt, wie ein Baby es tut.
Er ist ein strappendes Baby B.

Translated as:

He's a bouncing Baby B, as good as he can be.
He goes around the town, as babies often do.
He's a Bouncing Baby B.

Here is Ginger holding all three of the little ones. From left to right: Joel, Grace, and Ella. Ella always looks right at the camera with those beautiful eyes of hers.

Buggy is the first baby to really take an interest in grabbing this. This is a picture of her in a swing during play time.

This is an action shot of Ella during her "learn how to crawl" time. Thus far, none of the babies have actually learned how to crawl, but all of them are getting pretty good at propping themselves up on their arms and tipping over :o)

And finally we have Joel. He's really such a sweet little man, and is daddy's pride & joy!
