Growth!

In order to keep a mark on how fast our babies are growing, we took more pictures with the standard measuring stick (a 20 oz bottle of Coca-Cola Classic)... these pictures were taken on Friday, August 13th 2009, 11 days after the babies' due date.

Ella

Here we have our original recipe bug stretched out next to the bottle. Ella is now able to wear newborn sizes (it's actually rather mean to try to cram her into a preemie outfit now). In this photo, Ella is striking a thoughtful pose (notice how she's scratching her head).

Once she figured out that Grandma Warren's favorite beverage was in close proximity, our sweet Baby A got really excited!














Joel

Joel objected to being placed on a pink blanket for his photo. He is markedly more dense than his sisters, and Daddy's arm actually gets tired holding him!

Joel likes to curl up... the photo above was taken after carefully stretching him out to (almost) full length (a state which had a miniscule half-life!) Joel is definitely the most expressive with his hands, and evidently wants nothing to do with the Coke.








Grace

Mommy calls Grace her "squirm worm". Each of these pictures were taken in quick succession, and show how our youngest child never wants to hold still!
There's that tongue!

"Yippee!... I'm so big now!"

A funny pose... Grace will be graduating from preemie clothes within the next week... The end of an era :o(
