Papa Came and we kept him busy!

Papa Mitchell was here for a week or so. He's been on a motorcycle tour around the USA. He started out in Texas (his home) went to Utah (drove through a snow storm) visited Raylin and his brother Don, then on to Joel's in Washington state, then through Yellowstone- arrived at our home in Minnesota. We had a BLAST with him here! The babies are still asking "Where Papa?" Dad and I went for a nice long motorcycle ride the last Sunday evening that he was here. It was a magical time for me. It brought back many memories of riding around on the motorcycle with him as a little girl, after Mom died. There were scattered storms all around. So the sky was blue, gray, rain, with breaks of sunshine- large changing clouds. We drove all around the storms and never got rained on. On the way home, I enjoyed two beautiful rainbows. It was such a perfect evening! We got the porch re-screened and painted, hung flower baskets, and stained the porch floor a moss green! Papa stayed tired- as the kids gave him a head cold and we kept him working! Papa also got to meet our wonderful Dr. Kroska (and some of his children) when we picked up our tomatoes plants from ACME Tomatoes (BEST TOMATOES AROUND!!!) We look forward to his return!
